Red or black

Please!! want your opinion,have orderd a red SERK,but my dealer told me that black is the only colour he`s getting.Want you to help me out.Haven´t seen any of them in reality.What`s your opinion about the colours.Have to wait thre weeks more before we get SERKs to Sweden.....Thanks from Freja

Just like Howie, I will give you my "unbiased" opinion.

RED!!  RED!!  RED!!   :apple:  :apple:

Its a well known fact that red bikes not only go faster, but they also attract more ladies!  Besides, whats the point of paying for a bike with a color matched frame, if you are getting black.   :nixweiss:

To throw in my 2 penneth and I can only comment on what I have seen - it didn't look much in the magazine but the Black ice was amazing, I didn't like the blue, for me the flames didn't work, personally I have ordered the red and cannot wait.   Roll on June

Finland! hi Freja this is Markku from finland! Sorry to hear about you situation about the bike!!!  I make the order last july and the bike was in finland last december.  And my SERK is the red one.  I think that I make absolutely right color choice, because the bike is awesome.  For my point of view the black one is not for me, but these are of course someones own decisiones. 
  But what the hell happened is sweden? how is it possible that you did not get the bike??? When I make my order they send me a fax from the factory york pa. and in the fax there was the chassis number for the bike Which they was gona send me to finland! so I pay 3000 euros deposit and they send me the bike.  All of this was made between me and our local hd-dealer and hd-factory USA.

Here is the best part Freja, you can’t make a bad decision.  I’ve seen them all several times under various lighting conditions and it seems that they each excel at one time or another.  They are all striking, unless you really dislike one color, I’d go for the one that allows me to start putting miles on first.

they all look great.  I bought the RED,  because thats what I wanted.

you have to live with it. don't buy something just because its available.  hold out for the one you really want,, that will make you the happiest.

don't forget,, you have to look at it. you may as well be happy doing that.
