I had an oil cooler on the downtubes of my EVO Fatboy too and it seemed to help somewhat. I'm sure a fan on the oil cooler would have helped when stopped in traffic.
The debate over which would be better a fan on the oil cooler or a fan on the jugs (looks not counted), would depend on whether our engines are more oil cooled or air cooled wouldn't it?
