I can't believe they have locked in production numbers yet?  Any idea when the model year production changes? :-\

They don't. It's always "approximately XXXX models will be produced". I take this to mean we'll keep producing them until nobody wants them or the next years model comes out. :nixweiss:

I would guess that by how many B & O owners showed up here, that color is the most produced of the 3. And Ive seen a few  B & O's on the road.

And I saw at the tour 4 smurf (blue) Jestor's in various stages of completion in the CVO plant, along with 3 completed ones in the main plant awaiting their initial test runs in the "booth" before they were crated up.  Looks like they're doing a "smurf run" now.
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

They should know purdy close to what they will be producing.
The dealers were told in July/Aug how many they were getting and what color they would be and when they would be shipped. They are alloted the CVO bikes based on the sales and service performace of the dealership....at least this is what my dealer tells me. They just can't say I want more.

Partially true. The allocations are based on that. But the bikes become allocated in phases. The dealer can only order the bikes he's allocated in each phase. When they get their allocation, they can request colors to fill that allocation. The MoCo accepts it or tells them what they can't have. So there's no real way of knowing how many of each color until the end of the production year. They only know how many bikes they plan on allocating. That's my understanding on this issue. Hoist! 8)

Are you refering to regular bikes or CVO?

CVO bike. The regular bikes they get allocations for, but not much color choices. They have to "horse trade" with other dealers to work out color choices for regular models. Then they hop on 1 foot and whistle dixie! ;D Hoist! 8)

I told the dealer in June I/06 I wanted a CVO IF they came in an Ultra.
After they unvieled the bikes, he was told about a month later that he was getting 4 Ultra's...one B/O, 2 R/B and 1 Smurf as well as what dates/phases they would arrive.
Keep in mind this is in Canada...might be differant.
