New member, been riding for years but bought my first Harley last year and didn't know how I lived without it, rain, shine or cold weather doesn't stop me from riding but snow will.  :-[
I keep this baby in a heated garage over the winter...  Here is a pic the day I picked it up.  Bike was a Hartford, Conn. Police bike, after a couple of round about calls to Hartford PD I learned it was very well maintained and never in a crash.  After a very thorough inspection and quick ride around the lot I couldn't resist it and had it home the next week.  I ride this bike like I rode my rice rocket so eventually the floor boards where put at the highest height possible so I wouldn't scrape them anymore.  I wanted more speed so I went with Arlen Ness, Bub and power commander, I use a MAP for the specs of my bike and it sounds great  :2vrolijk_21:

Hello fellow newbie and NJ rider, I am in North Brunswick, But Edison born and raised, so maybe we have or will cross paths, I do Gooches garlic run and have several friends in your group, Charlie Moe is a long standing bud, sooo. hope you enjoy this site as much as I am, and probably see you soon!

Thanks for the welcomes, very cool and heartwarming,  LTBawb I'll be riding down to D.C. second week in May to Police week but it will be via my bicycle and my leg power.  We have about 30 PD motors escorting us down so look around on May 9 in the Woodbridge area if your in the area.

Welcome NJ,
I am a NJ aged but never grown up Mate too.  I am in Okinawa now but will be making a pilgrimage to the holy land that is NJ to pick up my new CVO Springer in July on my way to Germany.  U know any good SERT tuners over there (I am a north jersey boy--hudson and bergen county), I realize you have a PC on yours but thought you may have some idears.

Actually Spencers speed shop in Belleville NJ, essex county, which is very close to you, has Stage I, II and III race kits, what ever your money can buy he can get and make a deal with you, dyno tunes the bike and everything so you don't have to worry about if that downloaded MAP will work or not with your setup.  (When I get the money I'll be having him set my bike up)  I don't know of any other Harley specialty aftermarket shops.  Essex Harley does all SE setups but they tend to be pricey.

Thanx NJ,
Essex is where I am picking my bike up, it is on Bloomfield Ave.  I will have a friend of mine check out that shop you were talking about.  Appreciate the information.  Do you know if they have an e-mail address?

Your getting your bike at Essex Harley !!  thats a great shop and i just can't be honest about their shops work since no one I know has used them.  Spencer's Cycle shop has a web site,  www. spencerscycle.com and their phone number is 973-450-4800.  This place I can say has done some good work and at times some people have gone back with some minor issues, if you actually get Mark to work on your bike you will have a perfect bike.  Check them out, they are negoitable with some pricing and will make deals, just talk to them and take a tour of the shop.
