Extended Reach  Heel/Toe Shift Lever and brea
« on: November 25, 2004, 11:51:23 PM »

Have any of you found the floor boards to be a little tight.
I'm looking to replace my heel/toe and break shifter to something a little longer.

Have any of you found one that matchs the old one's????
that are a little longer?

Do you know if they match up with the OEM?

I would hate to pick them up to find out they do not match

Sorry but I'm not sure what you're asking when write "match up."  Match up how?

After my first ride, I ripped the heal shifter off the bike and put a chrome spacer between the linkage and the toe shifter.  Now I have no more problems with my left foot fitting.

As an old dirt biker, I never could get used the stupid heal shifter anyway. [smiley=helmet.gif]

I put on extended levers that I believe I got from Bubba's Brake.  I'll check it out and let you know.  The reason I got these was that I though they matched the stock ones.  My bike is an 03 SERK.  I can send you a pic of them if you want.  I used the same lever for the heel and toe, just flipped it over to mount.  I couldn't stand the stock ones, I couldn't move my foot. That would be great if you could send a couple of pictures.
I'm looking for one's that would match the Stock one's on the 03.
I would hate to replace every thing. Now that I have made a couple of changes to match the them.

I will send you a Messages with my e mail address.

Do you find they match well with the Stock one's

I happen to have one of them off the bike right now so I'll take a pic of the new one and the old one so you can compare them.  Probably send it to you tomorrow if I don't forget.  Or I can post it here if you prefer.

Sent you a picture, Mike.  I should have shrunk it down a little, but you can see the differences.  If you don't get it let me know here and I'll resend it.

Hopefully this won't be too big when I post it.  But this is my original with the extended one which I believe is from Bubba's Brake.
