Well...it took a few years, but I'm adding another baby to the garage, and although I'd love it to have been a Blue FXR3, I've gone outside the family, and snagged something almost as "exclusive." Picking up an '05 FLHPI on Saturday. Something a little different. I figured an FL was the next logical addition, but just couldn't find an SE FL for the price of the PO RK...hey PORK!...that looks like a vanity plate application right there! Plus, nobody seems to wanna buy the Police Bikes. Which makes for an amazingly cheap RK, with lots of unique stuff on it, at a nice price.

Now comes the fun...gotta replace the rubber (not rated 2-up, and the wife wants on the back ASAP), drop some passenger floorboards & detachable backrest (anyone got some on the cheap they wanna unload?) and start thinking about new paint. Although police white is growing on me

I figure I'll put some miles on it while still searching for that SE FL that makes me perk up, and then use it to trade in for the DP

Question is...how do I keep the first born happy?

What we see a lot of first borns that get an enormous amount of attention, especially in the bling department, then a touring bike comes home and the first born hardly ever gets ridden.  A lot of folks get a trailer and drag that gorgeous hardly ridden first born to the bike shows.  Then lots of folks can drool over how gorgeous it is and the tourer just gets the grunt work.

Simple Paul. The FL is the trip bike and The other is the street bike. Use the street bike around town and messing around and use the FL on trips. That way you can make them both as nice as you want cause you'll be riding both! Hoist!

We try to ride each bike at least once a week.

Exercise is good for them.

Congrats on the new scooter! The PORK is a great foundation to build from. I think it was Unbalanced that did a build from the PORK that came out really sweet.

The PORK is a great platform to work with. It should come with ABS brakes too. Check out what you can do with a PORK. This is a great alternative to a SERK. You can also get a 124" engine and Baker DD trans for it. http://www.ruckerperformance.com/promod/index.php Really cool chit! Hoist!

Congrats!  Police bikes are  .    The Birch White is a police only color.  And....
