Interesting story. Thanks for posting the link.
I guess it's hard to design a bike for police use since the equipment loads vary so much and they are ridden hard.

I think so.  Pretty alarming though - and as it appears to have been known about for a long time, it's astonishing Honda haven't fixed it....

Some Hondas do and some don't just as some HD's require Straight 8 and some don't a lot of things can cause the problem and lot of people think have problem when they don't . I'm just sayin'  :)

Honda has wobble issues with the VTX 1300's too.  Crappy steering head bearings. 

One of my friends bought a new 1982 Honda 900F, it had a high speed wobble too. 

The vtx1800F I had was very squirmy in corners.  The better half thought it rode like a mid 70's Kawasaki Z1.   :nervous:  Don't miss it a bit.
