Tiger Woods' Yacht
« on: April 27, 2007, 01:45:26 PM »

Not many people know that Tiger Woods owns a yacht. Ever since the golfer Greg Norman got his big yacht, people around the world have marvelled at how big it is. Well, Tiger Woods earned a lot more money playing golf than Greg Norman, and he invested it in all the right places so he too could have a yacht. Recently, Tiger withdrew some of his money and bought a yacht. He had it decked out to his specifications, with all the things he wanted on a yacht. He secretly did all of this until the yacht was ready to set sail. A photographer on assignment to photograph sea turtles in the ocean happened upon the yacht during its initial shakedown cruise, and got the very first photo of Tiger Woods' yacht.
This is Tiger's new yacht. (Scroll down)

Well, I thought it was funny...... (Stolen from Snopes.com)

I didn't know he had a place over there.

I followed the Shark out Jupiter Inlet one day going fishing. That thing looked like a ship compared to my boat.

Yep.  He recently bought several adjoining properties and combined them into one lot.  He's leveling two (?) existing (really nice) houses and building one new one for himself and his family.  The new lot goes all the way from the intracoastal to the beach--both sides of the road.  Word is that the house, though, will be surprisingly modest, by superstar standards, anyway.  You won't be able to see it from the road at all.  Read about it here:

I love the treatment on the CVN. So much nicer than Uncle Sam.

By the way, Greg Norman sold his Yacht to somebody or other. I saw it on TV the other night.

Might have been part of the divorce proceedings.  Norman and local tennis legend Chris Evert have been running around together for some time now while they were both still married.  Evert got divorced about six months ago and Norman's divorce is still in court--nasty big time.  Anyway, his place on Jupiter Island is up for sale, both he and his soon to be Ex bought new homes elsewhere--his is right around the corner from Evert's house down in Boca Raton.

This area must inspire a lot of soap opera scripts.

Jock buddy, if you're referring to Chris Evertt  you've got to be kiddin dude. She wasn't much in her prime and she's waaaaaaaaaaay beyond that now. A lifetime in the Florida sun on a tennis court must do absolute wonders for the skin. I would expect Granny Clampett to look as good. Ok, so Granny's dead and gone, but when she was whippin up them possum chitlins or whatever   ;D

B B,

I was referring to the yacht and nothing else...I am with you regarding the above statements.
