RUH ROH... me thinks that Don's answering machine messages will soon be trumped by a mass mailing to Gary's!! Rudolph thongs in what size??? 

D00d better worry about what gets mailed in an envelope that accidentally is addressed to MrsDood that he'll then have to explain.  You can already see the scene.  Candles lit, Mrs D00d with that "come hither" look.  As Gary starts hopping across the floor she whips a pair XL orange and black flame themed thong out from behind her back and shoots him in the head with them like a rubber band.  Then says "Gary, you got some explainin' to do!"

That is so not true.  The D00dresidence is KNOWN.

I hadn't saved the link Roger sent me way back when where THE THONG for Dood came from.  Google is a scary thing though.  A search by Harley thong (hey, maybe someone would get lucky) brought up no specific match.  But it did bring some weird stuff.  I know what everyone can send Gary for Christmas (and he'll just have to deal with MrsD00d on her own terms explaining everyone's generosity).

Wonder if D00d ever realized what it meant to ask someone if they'd ridden the dragon?

So I notice all the new replies to this thread, & as a happy CVO forum member/Zumo owner seeking GPS knowledge, I open it expecting to find new tips & new tricks & know the credit card will be used since it always seems to cost money to read anything here the stuff I learn here is invaluable.

Instead I spill/spit coffee all over the place reading about d00d otherwise known as "Thongman" & nary a word about Zumoniations.

I'm getting up to speed on the Zumo550. I've got the MapSource thing working, the MP3 working etc. I'm still learning as I go.

I'll end up using the zumo in the truck more than the bike, I'm sure. I'm sorta liking this MP3 thing. my chevy truck doesn't have an input port on the front of it. it does have a switch for Aux. Has anyone wired their zumo into the Aux port like we do on the bikes? I'm sure there must be a port somewhere..in the back?

If you don't have a cassette player and can't use a cassette adapter then you may want to try a FM transmitter.

I ordered the 550 and the transmitter/antenna from a friend who has contacts with Garmin.  Got about 40% off MSRP on both.  Thanks to all who contributed to this thread to help me spend yet more $$$. I have to order the mounts and the cables and then I should be good to go.
