Puzzled,
that looks magnificient ! I assumed you had to adjust the front fender somewhat (?). The general manager of our local dealer burned up his street glide fender from the 21" tire when it expanded while riding. How does the bike handle with the 21 up front? Did you do 18 on the rear?
Very COOL

I went two drill bit sizes larger on the two rear holes of the fender. I did this as just like you mentioned I too have heard about tire growth and rubbing. So this is what was done when we did the 00 E Glide wide tire bike. So I just followed suit on my bike. After the holes were slightly enlarged I rotated the fender up/forward as the closest part of the tire is in the rear. On that note Metzelers aren't suppose to grow at speed! Here is what I posted on another board when asked about the 21"
"There is 5mm difference in width from a 130x18 to a 120x21 and 24mm from a 130x16 to a 120x21 in a ME880. Dunlops may vary. A 130x18 measures 25.92 and a 120x21 measures 27.81. The 21 will have your bike sitting 1" taller in the front thus most are running 1" lowering kits to level the bike. I only know this chit as I was concerned about loosing the contact patch of the 18 going to the 21. At 5mm difference, who cares! Plus the 21 is easier to clean as I can get my hand in there."
I had done the 18" rear about a year and a half ago. I just changed from a 140 to a 150 Metzeler. Not a huge change but a visually noticeable one.
