I am driving mine like I stole it whenever I get on it to see if I can break it, no luck yet. 
It runs nicely (sert, rh2-1, se ac), alittle stinky on startup or when cold but it settles right out.

Hoist, my black ice bag spoilers are delayed for shipping another four weeks, I also ordered the flame latches ( yes, no?) and a trim strip piece for the top of the bags.  The marbilized triangle will go down the back of the bag and the tank flames on the side.  The fairing is going to the shop this week and a side panel for matching is going with it.

Sounds like you got some great stuff going there Mike.  I can't wait to see some pictures.  If everthing turns out, you paint guy may have a lot of work coming his way.

I hope so, but it going to take a little longer waiting on parts to finish....Any good custom painter can do this stuff for a price.  It ain't as hard as building a solid engine, oops.

Did you ever find out what the whistling was from.  I installed the tall windshield and the standard windshield and they both produce whistling.  The short custom windshield (which is useless) does not.  I installed passing lamps and moved the turn signals to the passing lamp bar and I think its coming from there.  Only occurs between 30-50 mph.  Any help is appreciated - it drives me crazy.  Robaire

Nope, never found it. Still whistles like crazy the faster you go. Tried blocking the slots at the spots/windshield bracket. No change. I'm still not crazy about it, but kinda gave up looking for it. If anyone finds exactly what's causing it, please let us know! Thanks. :2vrolijk_21:

Howie, I had your bike up to  :bananarock: :huepfenjump3: :bananarock: mph and was up and down the speed ranges several times.  Never noticed a whistle.  It even had the super quiet mufflers on it then.

Maybe it has something to do with the exhaust for some reason. It's back now, and whistling like crazy! :o

Maybe it was my larger ass.  Had the bike at a different angle entering the wind or something  :huepfenlol2: ?

The 2007 SERK is the perfect bike.

PROS
Don't have the whistle, no wind in the repair shop.
The seat is great because it is stopping dust from accumulating on the battery.
Speedo holding zero quite well, no bouncing whatsoever.
The paint and the scheme is fantastic and impervious to road scars, at this point in time.
Motor oil dipstick states oil cold.

CONS
The motor is junk, awaiting a new motor from the people who rolled out the original 110, now that's reassuring.
