Hey gang, I just heard from AJ. He's in NY on some business and has his bike in the truck with him. He just called and is finished with his work, and is free to play. I'm having him come by the house and we'll take the scoots around the City, maybe wind up in the village. I'm enjoying meeting members whenever I can. I'm looking forward to meeting/riding with AJ later! Will get some shots of that SC Boy in the Big City! Hoist!

Make sure you show him how to lane split. Be safe.

Thanks Tim, looking forward to it. He's staying upstate tonight and coming down tomorrow. We're meeting at my friend's shop. I have my Dyno Tune appointment tomorrow. We'll ride out from there and hit the city! I'll probably ride upstate Sat and we'll cruise around up there. Should be a good few days. It was a surprise he was coming! Hoist!

Quick update on the SEUC: Dealer said the cylinders need to be replaced. Ouch!

MUST BE FROM HITTING THAT REV LIMITER TO MUCH. HAVE EM TURN IT DOWN A BIT AJ.

Hey Gang, Had a great time with AJ and his buddies Randy and Travis yesterday. We hung at my buddy's shop for awhile and then left my bike there. They're expecting a Download of a new tuning program from PC. This will basically Autotune via the Dyno from what I understand. They use 2 sniffers and the program automatically fills each cell in for you. It supposed to cut the tuning, and associated wear and tear down to under 1/2 hour on the Dyno. I'm waiting from them on this. My friend trained on this program with PC, but they had to wait awhile as the program was a few grand. Keep an eye out for this, as Dyno tuning with PC might become much simpler. But for now, nothing to report on that. They probably can't tune it until tomorrow at the earliest. I'll find out more later.

So, we went back to my house and hung out there a little. I grabbed the WG and we rode into the city. It was nearing rush hour, so we stopped in Long Island City first to grab some We headed to Manhattan after awhile. This was where the Lane Splitting lessons would have normally occured. But Travis was in the truck and I gues AJ didn't feel like losing Travis and his truck! So we citizened it into the City! I can't say as I ever rode to the city that way before. Very frustrating sitting there with them cages. But we got there OK and the Travis had the adventure of parking the truck in Greenwich Village! Not us, we parked in front of the bar. No other way to travel as far as I'm concerned!

We hung out at one place called The Back Fence on Bleeker and Thompson. I've been going there for years. We ran into a bunch of people I knew rom various clubs that invited us over. But we went to Arturo's instead for some of the best Coal Oven Pizza you've ever had! After dinner, we went around the block to Dante's on McDougal St. for Espresso and Pastries. Well, AJ went for the pastries!

It was getting late and they had a choice to make if they were going to ride back up to Peekskill, NY. I offered for them to crash at my place, but they needed to get back upstate. I left them and met about 20 of my friends who all happened to be out the same night! It was like old home days, seeing all the bikes lined up in front of the bar. Needless to say, I got home around 3 AM! Little bit of a rough night.

We didn't get many pics, but attached are a few of them. I'll get the Dyno run after I'm tuned.

Well, it looks like I'm stuck in NY for a coule of days. The brakes went out on my truck & I'm having a hard time finding a diesel mechanic on a Friday. Now if it a Harley I'd be up & running in no time. Guess I'll have to torment Hoist! a little longer.

Whatever excuse you have to make up so you can stay and torment Hoist some more.  If he has three more nights like last night, he may escort you out of the city.

Big truck or Pick up? May know a diesel (big truck) mechanic who may be able to help you out if need be.

Hey Mike, are you or is anyone else planning on riding with us tomorrow? We're waiting to see who might be around for this. You're in eastern Pa, right? Q said he might be around. He's toward eastern CT. I think people's location's would help determine a good meeting spot.
