We went on a tour of the Corvette museum. Sorry the camera battery played out so I have no photos. It was pretty nice though. They have a program that you can actually pick up your new vette at the museum. It's called the nursery. They make a big ta do about it and hand you the keys and the car part way through the tour. Pretty neat. Whenever I get too old to ride two wheels, I'm a gonna have one.

Saturday night we deided to go back into Bowling Green to eat and maybe find some live music. We had directions to a place or two, but were striking out. We turned around at a convenience store and there was a couple on an ultra sitting there. They told us about a place called Wah Bah's. It's a motorcycle friendly bar/restaurant a few miles away. Since there were so many turns, he led us there. What a great place. Cold beer, live music. And they have a huge grill inside and cook some of the best steaks on the planet. If you are ever in Bowling Green, look it up. I have it listed in Zumo as one of my favorites.

This sink hole was discovered before the civil war. Some of the soilders would come here to swim, until they started going under and never coming back up. A local farmer decided to see how deep it was. He tied a rock to a strong, lowered it to the bottom, then measured the string. 325'. It was later measured with more modern devices and found to be 15' deep. But there was a hole that led to an underground river and evidently the rock and string was swept away sideways just like the lost swimmers.
Aren't those called lakes in the south  :confused5:

When they get big enough we call them lakes, Howie.  Big roundish lakes.

I planned to go to the 'vette museum when I rode to Harleyworld in August but did not since..... it's a long story.  I plan to go sometime when I have more time.

I know all you good people have been waiting for this day for ages. I found some leather bibs for those cold riding days. Here I am on the streets of Helen Ga. Some strange girl off the street wanted to touch me.

So where'd you find the leather bibs? Can we get a CVO discount?

I have the camo light weight jacket but no leather bibs.  When I walk around Helen, GA nobody wants to touch me.  No wonder.

I put a deposit on a 2009 B&O SE roadglide the other day. It's from a dealer in Charleston WV. Scheduled ship date is November 20th. A local dealer has a yeller one coming in about 2 weeks from now. I'm going to look at it, but, I think I've got to hold out for this B&O one. Actually got a chance to ride one today. customryder twisted my arm and made me ride his today. SWEET.

I'm keeping this bike bone stock. I'm doing absolutely nothing to it. Well...besides pipes and a windshield. Maybe a few chrome doodads.  ;D
