Dunno about in the US, but in the UK, replacement parts don't extend the warranty.  It expires 2 years from purchase of the bike, regardless.

Well, despite the rain, I took her out today and did 220 miles - the learning experience for the TM/AT if nothing else.  We appear to be leak free, touch wood!  :orange:

Thanks for posting the pics.  Not how I pictured it - no jagged edges, etc.  Interesting - hope your repair gets the job done until replaced.  JB Weld is great stuff.
