Finally got it...
« on: May 16, 2007, 03:12:54 PM »

After 6 months of waiting, I finally got my previously-reserved FLHTCUSE2. It was november when I said "I want it"...and just 2 weeks ago they gave it to me. Such a long time!!

I used to have a Heritage Softail, which I really liked, but when I saw this one, I just fell in love. The thing is, now I have it, I even love it more. It rides better, and even though it weights about 40kilo more, when riding, it seems as if it weighted less. I thought: "this motorcycle's perfect"...but now I see it isn't! I've read about so much problems people have had...oil leaks, engine going too low...heat...and so on. The problem is that I live in the "far, far away", in the Canary Islands, Spain, where if I have a problem, it might take a month to recieve, to put an example, the gasket.

Also, here they told me they cannot get things from Screaming Eagle (no power comander, no SERT, etc), so I won't be able to get those "horses" hidden inside that huge 110. Hope I find a way to get SERT, the Big Sucker and the rineharts...do you think otherwise I might have even more problems? God...I love this 38k € (which is 51k $ for those of you who think 38k $ is a lot) motorcycle so much...I don't want it to brake!! God save my SEUC :-\

About my first experience...the only problem was some wubble, and also some strange noises when going at too low revs (something hitting some other thing maybe? kinda strange noise indeed...). I didn't considere any of those big problems, I just thought "this is a beast". Still believe it, now hope it doesn't have any problem, ever. Thanks for reading, for helping those of you who do, and also, sorry for my english. I still have to work it a bit, just like the bike  :coolblue:

Welcome to the site Rayman2 and congrats on the new bike.  Your English is fine.  Ride safe and enjoy your new SEUC2, it'll be worth the wait you had.

Rayman2, Congratulations on your new ride and welcome. You'll love it! Don't worry too much about possible problems, the majority are pretty trouble free. The good thing is, if you do have a problem this forum is a great place to get some help. Lot's of information here.

Also, we need some pics!  :worthless:

Congrats on the new ride!!!  Hope you have many, many trouble free miles.

Do you do your own work to the bike or do you have a dealer or independent mechanic perform your work?

Wow,  You are going to be the only owner probably in your neck of the woods with a bike like yours.  Your's will be so very special.  Some folks around here don't like it when they run into themselves on the road.  So your very special bike will be special to all that see it.  I, like the others, think you have to forget about some folks having troubles.  We all, especially me, complain about all the problems we have, and we spend not nearly enough time talking about what is great about these CVO bikes.  How fantastic they look, sound, handle etc.  Your CVO Motorcyle Language is read here Loud And Clear!  If you need a part that takes a long time getting, we will sit here at this board and be upset right along with you while your having to polish your bike instead of ride it. If there is a part you can't get, for whatever reason, there are a lot of folks who can tell you the work around - ordering off the internet - ordering from a place like Chicago HD etc.  The bike you have is going to more than make up for the wait for it.  Congratulations and a Great Big CVO Welcome to you here.   :cherry:

Rayman2, welcome here and to the CVO family.

Your English is far better than my Spanish I can assure you.  Some of your issues with performance parts may be answered by our other Euro members. Bisounours, UKDave, Eqcons, rubaga, dogols, Snurrebakken, to name a few.

There are dealers here that will ship to you.

Here's a thread on the euro bikes. http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=8845.0

Rayman,
Welcome to the site.   Hopefully, with you getting a late model year SEUC, they may have already incorporated some of the changes into your engine.  Probably not the AFR/heat issue though. :(  Enjoy your new ride and like MrsWe said, you'll definitely have some exclusivity on the island with your new "beast".
Cheers  :2vrolijk_21:,
