You FD guys kill me. Neal, seeing that fairing on a SERk will not sway me one iota! All the crap about XM and Intercoms will not sway me. I still continue to maintain that You FD guys Kill me!!! I would never ride 120 MPH listening to XM and bopping my head to the beat. I ride my bike hard and love it that way. If I want XM, I'll take my truck or stay home! When I ride, I RIDE. And that's good enough for me. That's my passion!!! Still think you can persuade me? Hoist!

Absolutely.  After seeing Howie's response to full dresser I too would be entertained....  ummmm, I meant to say interested to hear his reactions to what he might see as a Dresserfied Road King    .

And this is about what I expected  :

HDiva!!! Glad you're part of the BSR's!! Feel free to start new threads too!! I think we'll give the guys a birds'eye view from the backseat they never thought about (dare I say care about??....OOHHHH I don't THINK so!!!  )

The BSR's are an important part of the ride experience (as important as fuel and beer IMHP) 

Let's get all the BSR's to jump in here and make our presence an important part of the site!

Anyway, I don't have a chance in hell gettin a sterio on a bike....it ain't gonna happen. But, I'm ok with it...I just like checkin out all the nature around me

OK, so I am not a BSR, so maybe should not be replying in this thread, but Binx, when you say there is no way to getting a radio, it reminded me that I, like you, used to think I would have no use for one. While my husband was riding the Road King, he would go through so many exotic attempts to create some way to get music to listen to.  The list is endless of what he tried, some cheap, some expensive, none met his expectations.  Then he got the SEEG and that was that.  I was just cheerfully going along listening to my engine and trying to perfect that shifting to what the engine sounded like and looking around at the sceneray and smelling the smells you get while cruising around our great country.  Three bikes later and my husband bought a SEEG for me for an anniversary present.  Well, it had bonuses that I had never even considered.  One of them was the radio.  He added XM to that and then, I became a fan on not only having tunes on the bike, but XM tunes.  Always great music, don't need to download anything, never know what the next great song will be, and you know, I can still hear my engine just fine.  I love it.  I'd just say that Never Say Never!

Have you met my husband?  I believe he would say "you have a better chance of seeing God than getting a full dresser with a stereo"

I can definitely say/see she loves it. I've seen her whipping her bike in curves, head bopping and singing as she cruises on down the road.

I think at times the music ADDS to the riding experience...sometimes on the XM, the PERFECT song comes on for the setting you're in.  Makes a 100% great experience 110%

For me it's a mood thing.  There are times when I really like having the music in the background.  But it does need to be the right music.  As much as I like it, however, at least half the time I don't want it.  Just like the sound of the road better.  The more open is the space the less I want the music.
