There can be times when you are just bored with perfection so need something new  :nixweiss:  .

Or in your case, starting with a blank slate since you've run out of things to do to your current sled.

At this point and time I don't think I will ever sell my 05', Like others have said the only way would be from a total loss or theft. If it was a total I would most likely try to buy it back and resurect it.

Right now I echo Jim's sentiments on his/my 05..  The MOCO would have to come out with something great to warrant selling.  I'm just now getting mine where I want it-until 2Lane finds something new to make us want to add/upgrade.

If they make another FXR maybe. Although as the years go by, I want a Blue '99. And two sleds is enough. I love the PORK

Bob, I think several of us share the sentiment of having no particular interest in losing a red SEEG.  Just sweet sweet looking rides.  Someday I've love the opporunity to stage a photo with a red SEEG, a red first gen SE Road King and the red SERG.  To my eye three of the best looking paint schemes Harley ever did.  I think the Road King is even better looking than our SEEGs.  And that SERG is in a nose to nose horse race with it.

I have a 07 Smurf CUSE2 and a Stock 07 Road Glide. There are many things I love about each bike that I think would be perfect if put together. Thast why I am hoping for a 08 Road Glide in a color that I would really love. If not, theres always 09 I guess which would just give me more time to get closer to the "break even" point. ;)

We have a fellow HOG member who hashad the purple road king.  He is a great rider and one heck of a good guy and we always enjoy his company.  A couple of weekends ago, we ride up (ten minutes late - making everyone wait on us) to the pack of the pack for a ride and I am staring at Bill, I know him well, staring at the bike - I thought I knew it well, but something was wrong.  Did you loose weight? change your hair cut? shave a mustache ------ no purple road king is gone and Bill now has the red first gen road king.  Well, the purple was very nice.  But that red, hand painted flames - gleaming on a sunny day.  I had to tell him, that not that I am dissing my own bike, but I have to say that almost think his bike looks better than mine.   Made everyone laugh.  I tell you what, that is one impressive looking bike. I think this must have been the first one I saw in person, cause the look blew me away.

I think I am starting to get a little tetchy here as you guys are all talking about whether you would/wouldn't, will/won't get an 08 bike and my 07 bike still hasn't been delivered.

I'd appreciate it if someone who lives near Milwaukee could go kick the CVO Plant Managers Ass !!  :confused5:
