Is this a picture of what you are looking for? It is a picture of the stock XM antenna that I relocated outside the fairing. I have it attached w/ a piece of Velcro w/ double stick tape and placed it on the lip of the front speaker so I could keep my windshield bags intact.

Here's a picture of the location between the windshield pouches.

Mine just looks like the mystery button.

The other end of the Antenna Wire (NOT THE BUTTON END) that plugs into the HK (XM) Module form the (button end)

reason: I'd like to relocate it to the top of the tour pack. I could buy all three types of xm antennas but would rather have the right one before I start. Thanks.

Wayne,

Without pictures I hope this helps. It's pink. There is a little plastic spring clip on the bottom side that when depressed, allows the plug to slip right off. The plug is male on the radio and the pink thing is the female part. It is about 1/4" in diameter.

I hope this helps.

That's the info I'm looking for I know which one to get - Twenty Feet of cord and it has a Magnet base (button) that will stick to the CVO emblem on top of the tour pack.

Thank You.

yep....same problem......I think it's an XM thing.  My FM sounds better than XM...maybe too many radio and satellite waves out there to get good signals.  I'll not re-new after 3 month free trial.

No- My non problem is just drop out of the signal and sound is better or the same as CD & Fm Quality. In my car it doesn't drop because the Antenna is on a larger ground plane. The HD Antenna is covered by the Faring and surrounded by all the 'electrics going on inside the faring. If I can get outside it should improve somewhat.

If you are having XM issue's then you may need to upgrade the HK radio Software. What is your current version? 8.19 is current.
Maybe you need to see your dealer for warranty of radio?

I had the same problem with the XM. I pulled off the fairing & found out that the module was loose. Works great now!!!!!!!!!!
