New Red Jester!!

Got my new red Jester last Wednesday.
Picked it up during a New Orleans rain storm and while taking her home, got stuck in an area that got 6" of rain in an hour. I had to ride the sidewalk after the water was a foot deep. Then she stalled and the water went above the pipes!!! (only 21mi on her) :shocked2:  Tried to take a photo, but my camera and phone died from the rain.
After waitng an hour the water was down to mere inches, so we made it home. Had some grass & debris on the top of the trans and mufflers!!   :o  Took hours to get it clean enuff to start polishing!

Memorial day week-end put 850mi riding the Natchez Trace.

Put new trim rings on the front lights, windshield trim & HD heat shields.
Now I'm waiting on a Zippers TM/AT & Rinehart TD & roll yer own air cleaner.

Nav system was spot on for directions & fuel, XM had great coverage (except in heavy foliage)

Sounds like you needed the SE Chrome Accessory Snorkel Kit for 07 Touring models, $1349.99.

Congrats on the new ride! Your 850 mile trip made me feel bad- I only did 250 over the weekend, and didn't need the snorkel kit. Only took me 4 hours to clean it up after the rain.

I picked up my Red Jester on Friday , so you had a couple a days head start. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am.

Got a guy coming this afternoon to install the 3M paint protector kit. I can't find any flaws iin the paint, so I'm gonna' cover it beforeit has a chance to get any chips.

Congrats on the new ride...looking good.  I just bought the HD mid-frame heat shields...going to install them Monday...can you give a closer picture of those bad boys...I noticed that the left and right shields are not the same size...the right side appears longer/bigger.

Here's a picture that includes both sides. If ya want to see them bigger, PM me with an email and I'll send larger files.

Sorry for the dirty bike, I 'chit' you not, but we got caught in another F'in rainstorm.
Anyone know of a periscope kit and stainless propeller attachment?
