Well I guess it's about time I make this official. Donna and I got engaged last month. We were on a trip to Chicago and I popped the question. Here I was out of work and at the moment without any job offers and she still said yes. :-*

What the heck was she thinking? :nixweiss:

Haven't set a date yet, we don't even know where yet. We've kicked around everywhere from Cape cod to Hawaii and quite a few places in between. If anybody has any "creative" ideas I'm open to suggestions.

Congratulations, Ed and Donna!!!   :pepper: :2vrolijk_21:  I've not met Donna (yet), but I know you've got a good lady, and she recognizes a good man when she sees one, so the future for both of you will hold nothing but great things.  Besides, any woman who thinks you need both the Vrod and another Touring Bike is definitely a keeper, buddy!!  Could not be happier for the both of you!!

I vote for a wedding at the JP, then hop on a plane to Calgary, rent a car, drive to Lake O'Hara in the Canadian Rockies, get a little cabin on the lake (all inclusive), let them serve your meals in fine style.  No TV's, no phones.  One of the most peaceful and beautiful places I've ever seen in my life.
