Oh lord, first we're a bunch of old woman then we're a bunch of old dudes.  My sexuality is going to get really confused if this keeps up (or, apparently, if I like teal?).

I actually like the idea of splitting the side fender color with the top color. Mark Sporka and I actually discussed that. It helps break up the teal, opps, I mean light green on the fender which is where I struggle with my paint.

I like the silver idea too. We photoshopped the silver and green and it looked pretty cool - sort of 1998 Heritage 2tone.

Silver/gray is probably the best option.  My only thought would be that maybe you should try to match the engine color.  Just a thought...

Mr. JCZ sir, as a global moderator of this fine forum I believe you should be aware that the "original" color, or... if not the original... the obvious preference of the MoCo (or someone at the MoCo  is La Orange.  I submit... Exhibit A:  The cover of the original SEEG sales brocure.  [smiley=laugh.gif]

Have a good day sir. [smiley=beerchug.gif] [smiley=beerchug.gif] [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Phattey.....Does Mr. Sporka have a website with some of his work on it.  I'm in the process of laying out a paint scheme for a chopper I'll be completing within the next 60 days or so.  by the way, good luck on custom painting the teal machine.  I think we're all anxious to see the final result.

BLM777....

Mark may have a website...I don't remember. But I have seen lots of mag covers where his bikes are featured. If you want his number for some dialog, let me know.

He does mostly choppers, yet is excited about my bagger.

I go in this coming week. I'll get before and after shots. It's going to be very subtle though. All I'm doing this time is eliminating the light teal on the front fender and battery boxes..

If that turns out as good as I think, I may keep going.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the info Phattey....yes, I would appreciate his number as the chopper I'm finishing is going to be a good enough scoot to deserve an outstanding paint scheme.  Thanks again and good luck with the paint on your SEEG.

phattey;  Have you gotten a second opinion from any other custom paint guru's? With all this talk about changing colors I got with Memphis very own Mr. Rip Offartest, and he gave me some great color schemes and ideas for customizing my Yellow SEEG when it get's here! I went to his studio and used some of his high tech digital computer enhancement equipment to work with until I found the right color scheme. Of course this is my first draft and I have time to change things up if I decide to do so. Thought I would put it on this site to get everyone's feedback. (Except DW's, I would be crushed if he didn't like it!) Oh ya, If you want, check out his website at www.allucangetfor$1.99.com. One more thing... he said he would beat any competitors price by 10%. And for your imformation the pink lookin color is actually Magenta! And the light blue is actually called Cyan! I'm so excited...oh well what do you guys think?             JR [smiley=laugh.gif]

Actually, your honesty is refreshing and I can live with that. But I noticed in your reply you did not mention anything about my color scheme so you must have liked it, huh! Hey JC........did you notice the peace sign? Cool huh!              JR [smiley=laugh.gif]

Recall this, JR.

Listen to me one time and one time only....most vehicles dpreciate by 20-25% when they leave the dealer.....you will be compounding this losss exponentially when you accomplish your rendering.  Put a sharp stick in your eye and even date a gay guy but do not under any circumstances embellish your bike in proven, decided and with out one iota of a doubt bad taste as I have seen what you have posted.............unless you do it very very very very (get it ...less.......less......less) sparingly.  You will thank me for this harsh advice.
