What color do you guys think might look good as a replacement color on the 2 tone teal SEEG..?? - Specificly the light teal...

I like the dark green, yet wonder what might be a better 2 tone color than the light teal..

I know it's tabo to mess with the CVO paint (resale, etc..), but I wonder what might've been other color combinations. The Red SEEG is THE color IMHO for '05. The Black/Blue for '04, again IMHO. Thus, what might look better on the teal 2 tone..??

What I don't understand:

Nearly every guy I ride with has a fair amount of civility.  A certain spirit of comradeship and even almost brotherly intent seems to be just part of the mix.  The people involved is one of the reasons I enjoy the bikes so much.  Even when they disagree with you they'll still help you.  And if they tell you you're stupid they're doing it as they hand you a beer and a shop rag.

Arrogance, rudeness, or pretensions to actiing like some kind of a school yard bully are just never part of the mix among these guys.  At least not in the real world.  Guess that's one of the unfortunate differences between the real world and the ability to speak when you're not really facing anyone in a format like this one.

You gotta just love these responses....DW6019 you're making me feel like I'm a 16 kid with a Honda Civic asking if I should put flames on it along with a coffee can muffler.

Actually, yes I'm meeting with Mark Sporka (very talented motorcycle "artisit") next week.
We're discussing options as I've asked here.

I really am fine with the paint, expect for the lighter teal on the front fendor and top of the battery boxes. He and I photoshopped spraying those areas the dark teal instead and it looked really good. He can do this for a very reasonable amount and I'm getting close to doing it.

However, I thought I'd reach out to see what others may have done, or what ideas folks may have. It seems to have more eyes on an opportunity may be in my benefit.

Trust me...I don't waste time asking questions that aren't going anywhere, but thanks for checking me.

Just curious, because if you intend to paint yours, go to the local paint store that sells House Of Color paints, get a chart & compare there suggestions to what you think yourself. Lots of better colors to be had.
But I really think you just started a stupid topic.

I don't understand the flaming reply either. Twolane said it best. Part of the tradition we enjoy is to do w/ our rides as we see and if someone wants our opinion I'll be damned if I'll condem them for asking. [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]

As far as the question.... I think a lighter color like a silver or white might look kinda cool.

For what it's worth, I've always thought the side color on the fender was the "problem" on any of the 05 color schemes.

Personally, The two-tone teal is the best looking combo (NEXT TO ORANGE AND BLACK that is!!!)  I wouldn't change it!

Yeap, that's right.  In fact the Black and Blue is so much cooler than the 05 red ones that everyone but me should repaint their red bike to black and blue.  

(I want the only one!)
