Did Honda beef up that wimpy a$$ed fork brace causing so many handling problems (wobble)?  And fix the anti-dive problem valve in the front forks?

They did TC.  Every Honda dealer puts a business card for Traxxion Dynamics in with the owner's manual  :huepfenlol2: .

I have it on good authority, from reliable sources; that you are absolutely correct.  At least that's the rumor.

Too true...did you read that article in Motorcycle Consumer News (March '07) about the problems Honda had with the 1800's.  Serious stuff with that frame issue.  The article explained everything happening with the Wings and how Traxxion (Max) came up with the fixes they are installing.  Very informative article.  A guy from Detroit was there on his 1800 getting all the work done...apparently, the GWRA (?) has a website and word has spread qucikly about the Traxxion fixes for their problems, both front and rear.

I've not ridden them for tons of miles.  But have sat a few Goldwings before.  Riding Max's some that day before you arrived readily informed of the significant difference that I was hoping to expect on our bikes.  Just glad it measured up comparably.

Rumor has it, supported by reports from the voices in my head, that any bike I ever have will have to get this work done to it now if the factory hasn't measured up in the interim.  This upgrade is kind of like losing your virginity.  Once you've had a taste you just don't want to be without.

Yea, you should ride the V now...it was fun before, but it's REALLY fun now.  Kind of like the difference in waking up with that one that looked like a 10 in the bar that night, but the next morning is really a 4 or 5, and waking up to find a 10 in the morning when you were hoping for just something around 8ish.

 Its confirmed..from various source's....gone from the 2008 line-up:

xl883r
Duece
Street Rod :o
Springer (flsts)
Dyna Wide Glide
Road King Custom

As would be expected the Xl50 and NHRA V-Rod were a 2007 exclusive run bike.

Coming soon: a Buell Dirt Bike and a trike for each family.....and a new bad ass softtail ("Dice")???

CVO info forthcoming............. :2vrolijk_21:

The standard bike line up was detailed previously with the release of the 08 color chart.  Assuming the chart itself isn't bogus no need for "various sources" feeding that rumor mill.  It's actually documented.  That's better than uncited sources any day  :2vrolijk_21: .

Something of a discussion of that chart in this thread:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=14129.0

You got it, Don.  It'll be a different animal when you ride next time...like a sure footed Cheeta...complete with growl. :2vrolijk_21:
