Had many a ticket reduced to "improper equipment"

Das tut mir leid,

That is an expensive ticket for sure.   I have not heard from any of my friends that they reduce the tickets in Germany just hit you with the fine and possible revocating of the license.   Was it a photograph box or an actual officer that got you?  Them photo boxes are a pain the butt. (arsch)

in the old days...they would pull you over with the cute little red circle sign and you would hand overs a stack of DMs and be on your way....
never even got my ID
( might have been because they treated american GIs differently)
the Mustang GT was fun over there and it was kind of a pay to play scenario
