The ride around the lake is beautiful, especially near Emerald Bay.  You can also ride Hwy 89, 108, or 120.  All are great!  There's a little bar on the South Shore that's very biker friendly as well.  I forget the name of it but if you were going west on 50 from the casinos, when you reach the Y (Hwy 89 south towards Kirkwood to the left, Hwy 89 north towards Tahoe City on the right), go right and it's a couple hundred yards on the left hand side...

As you continue north on Hwy. 89 coming in to Tahoe City is the Hornblower restaurant on the right.  Just past the restaurant you'll go over a bridge and there will be people standing on it looking over the side into the water..........it's nicknamed "Fanny Bridge" due to all the fannys hanging over the edge.  Stop and take a look at what they're looking at.......you'll see up close the largest trout that you've ever saw in your life......lots of them.

I remember something like that.
Thought it was called "Big Ass Bridge"
Or maybe that was when mine was hanging over? ::)
