What a mess it was installing these, but I think it was worth it...

Installing them by just raising the tank is a real pain that's why mines are still in the box. They look nice. :2vrolijk_21:

Yep, the chrome headbolt bridge and fuel crossover hose are in the garage.  The headbolt covers don't seem to have the holes centered for the plugs, not sure if they are a defect or not (yes, the front is on the front and the rear is on the rear).  They plain just don't fit right...

I have also ordered the flames stainless shift linkage, that should look good and flow well with the theme of the bike.

Since we helping you spend your money  on bling may as well look at these also.

Chrome Rocker Box Bolt Covers

Stainless Steel Braided Fuel Crossover Line

I'm looking at this alternative for the fuel line as it will allow removing tank w/o having to drain it - Harley Quick Disconnect Fuel Line Crossover Tube NEW.

'dood,

When you get your new braided S/S fuel crossover you will have the perfect opportunity to remove the tank and finally install your wires.  Trust me, removing the tank is much easier than trying to partially raise it and then work under there.  And BTW, when you remove the tank either drain or syphon as much fuel out as possible, even with the quick-disconnect type of crossover.  This makes the tank much lighter and easier to handle, thus reducing the chance of a dreaded "OOPS".
