It ain't the brake pads that made you feel the difference 
Actually Wayne, in this case it was. The pads that is. We were very specifically doing a before and after ride. Rode the bike with the stock pads. Took the stock pads off and installed these new pads Max is testing. Then rode the bike again on the same route doing the same stops. Was an immediate and noticable difference. And it was all pads.
An example:
I used a particular driveway as a marker to hit the brakes as hard as I could at a specific speed. The bike stopped at a given point and the ABS on the bike engaged for about two seconds.
With the new pads hit the brakes just as hard at the same speed from the same spot. The ABS didn't even engage but the bike stopped about 20 foot shorter. This was only from 50 mph on a short stretch of road.
