2008 105th Anniversary model/s/
« on: June 19, 2007, 11:52:32 AM »

I know a number of you, myself included, are bummed out by the apparent omission of the Roadglide from the 2008 SE line.  Since the new bikes will be unveiled in less than 3 weeks don't do anything hasty.
Again, from a reliable source that told me about the 6 gallon tank, I learned that one or more bikes being available from the factory with the Jims 120  possibly as an anniversary model.  Are these motors reliable or are you destined to be a permanent fixture of the service dept.

Take it for whatever it's worth; the gospel or just some fun reading.

Have never heard a bad word about the 120 Jim's.
Everytime I ride mine it gets hammered. (not abused but hammered)
Are they reliable  :nixweiss: for 5000 miles it has been.

Thanks for the feedback. If they come out with a factory warrantied Roadglide with the Jims 120, I'll be getting one.

That would be great but the CARB document did not indicate an anniversary RG, there was an anniversary RK and Ultra Classic listed but no reference to a RG.  We will remain hopeful however.  :)

Pfffff, IF that were to happen it sure would be nice. :2vrolijk_21:

Than again I think the water cooled version is a viable option also.

Only three weeks to go hunh? Anticipation...... (as I hum the old Heinz commercial in my head)
