B B was fortunate to be able to get there in time to be with his Dad and have time with him.

Thoughts are with Brian and his Mom and prayers for both and his Dad as well.

My Dad passed many years ago - I still miss him.

Thanks to all for the kind words. And especially to Beags as always for being my best bro. d00d and Chip - - - really appreciate the calls and lettin me ramble on when I was growing weary of watching and waiting. So Dad and I had plenty of time to catch up, make sure we both had all accounts paid in full and said goodbye as men. father/son and friends. Couldn't ask for more than that.

So sorry to hear about your Dad, my condolences to you and your family. Glad you got to spend some time with him and see him on his way to a better world and away from all the pain and suffering. Went through it with my own Dad and there will always be a huge gap that cannot be filled when we lose a parent. Time helps the pain, but the emptiness is remains.
