Motorcycle Consumer News has made reference to new Honda owner's complaints with quality.  Seems as though HD doesn't have the corner on that issue. :nixweiss:

Now as far as HOG stock splitting..........I'd like to see that happen again.  I've been in on the last two splits and we haven't had one in quite awhile.

It would be nice to see another split soon.

...it always seems to happen when the stock gets around sixty. Foreign investors would probably pay 75 for a hostel take over. Lets hope the family isn't tired of government regulation and lawsuits from folks who have no business riding motorcycles. It's tough being in business these days !

last Monday on one of the local Chicago radio stations I heard them say Toyota was in the works of buying Harley-Davidson.

I wonder if next week AMF will be interested.

Hey I heard the Colonel, from KFC fame was interested.

Our next generation HDs will have the smell of fried chicken coming out of the stock pipes and we will have the green version of fuel consumption available - used oil from all the KFC restaurants.

if honda does take over the bike will be better, most of the parts are made in japan anyway, maybe they will call it honda davidson, take a few hundred lbs. off the bike , give it some brakes :carrot:

I hope Social Security takes it over, those payments are going to be hard to make when I retire. Them with baggers will qualify. They already call them geezer rides anyhow. They say that the last year we are on the planet it cost the government $200,000.00. How about a new CVO and a heart attack from too many burn outs and wild women.  Nobody gets hurt and the feds save $160,000.
