Grits grow on medium sized bushes, Don...they're hell to pick though...takes the poor farm worker a whole day just to get a box full. ::)

okra

beans - oh my - pinto, butter, lima, pole, northern, green ...

poke and sassafras

to go with those biscuits don't forget about cornbread

Yes, I had a lot of adjustments to make when we moved from Canada to the US.  A lot.
