Thanks vag, we're getting there now!

TODAY'S UPDATE:

Making progress on tuning now. Bike was tuned and tested w/Quiet Performance FatCats w/DPP and S&S Tuned Runner Intakes. The best part is the flat spot on the low end Tq was brought right up! Tq is high and smooth from 1800 RPM, and starts off at 112 Tq. Overall numbers were not incredible, but we're still tuning. With the DPP/FatCats it was 117/125. With the S&S Tuned Runner/FatCats it was 120/130. The HPI 58 mm just came off and the S&S 54 mm is going on. S&S has Joe testing this new TB and I might just be the first to have it. We'll see, but he's expecting to tune this to 125/135 and have it pulling straight up to 6200! He said the ridability is so much better now that the TQ comes straight up. You can roll on at 1800, meaning you can cruise mellow there if you want to, and get decent mileage. And it's supposedly running cooler than ever! But with the gear change, this thing should come out of the hole like an animal, and pull straight thru the gears! All that without a TMAT! ::) ;D ;)

I see you made it back up! Sounds like everything is getting closer to perfect, I just got the( EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD,PARTS SHOULD BE IN BY THE END OF THE WEEK)  Spew for the second week now!!!!
I am trying to get a copy of my dyno chart to ya , It won,t let me att-it   114.1 on the TQ    93.6 on the HP.
Joe wants it back when the work is done at the shop, He thinks that the leak was there before the tune and should get better #s from it.

I'm supposed to go up this weekend to pick it up. Binx will be with me and we'll probably ride the Adirondaks again all weekend.

By the way, how is your bike doing Harry.  Read of it's recent recurrent problems but hadn't noticed a final fix yet.  You going again or still waiting?

It is back together and I have about 900 miles on it.

I needed to adjust the tune a bit due to the pressure loss, but think I have it running fairly well.   I was even able to pickup the low end a bit out of the hole.

I am not a bit confident that this will fix the issue.   I believe we are going to find that even with a newer jugg that the issue still exists / returns.   I hope I am wrong, but don't think so based on ultrafxr's experience already.

I think it is going to take new juggs, new studs and planeing of the heads / juggs and possibly a different gasket like a cometic.   Howie's build is going to be the thing to watch to see if it leaks at 5000-7500 miles.   -harry

It sure is something to watch Harry. And if it does leak again, they come off and the Ductile Irons w/External Oil Returns go in! And some forged pistons while I'm at it! ;) Hoist! 8)

NEW UPDATE: The bike was retuned/retested w/the new S&S 54 mm TB w/FatCats and S&S Tuned Runner. It made 8 HP and Ft-Lbs less than with the 58 mm HPI! It also ran a little hotter! We're definitely on to something here on these 110's and TB sizes. They do seem to love a larger TB! And run cooler with it too! Also, the 4.89 injectors seem too large and are cycling in the negative. He'd like to bring up the injector efficiency by trying the stock injectors. The heads seem to need the flow, but aren't requiring all the extra fuel flow to run efficiently. Wes is checking into getting us a 62 mm to try now. We'll know once and for all what belongs in this thing! ;)

sounds to me that we should be able to get these 110,s right. Joe did mention to me about the larger TB, Let em breath .
Maybe the 08 folks will have better luck , tho I don,t think the MoCo made any changes-I guess this site will only grow
