Welcome to the site Spyke.  I don't know if I'd be able to handle getting a bike in the middle of winter. Much less the SEEG, the king of the hill.  You'll find lots of great info here.

Hey TwoLane, There is a Buffy, and she rides a  2001 Heritage Softtail.  When I traded in the 2002 Electric Glide for this CVO, I was reminded of how many miles I put on hers and was told she expected the same in return ?!! [smiley=furious.gif]  Well, after adding Rineharts, a few trim pieces, Stage 1 kit, I told her I'd break it in and she could then start making up the miles.  Happy wife, Happy life !!

Does anyone have recommendations on seating - my wife would like to sit up higher than the standard seat so she can see over my head

Are you sure you meant to ask that question in this thread and not HERE?  [smiley=confused5.gif] [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

My advise is for her to buy a yellow SEEG and move to the front seat, no head in the way. lol

A little off topic for this thread (but that's not a first, either) but you might look at the Comfort Stitch seat by HD.  You'll have to get the one for the Road King......due to our tank dash panel, an Electra Glide seat will not fit.  There are several pictures on this web site that show that seat on our bikes.  When it's on our bike, it will raise her as much as on a new Ultra Classic, above you.

Warm Welcome to the site Spyke! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Congratulations on your new cherry. Sorry to hear you can't get it out of your garage, But at least you CAN go out and rub on her if you want to, tell her how beautiful she looks and sounds. Unless of course it's a "HE", then you would be in MRS.WeCVO's garage!

I'm also new to the site. I decided to join because I was visiting all the time. We got our teal SEEG September 22. I was a little upset with my 01 Road King Classic. I still think it was more a dealer problem than a bike problem. Anyway, I told my wife I wanted something with "FLASH". She told me that she loved the looks of the teal SEEG. The local Harley Salesman told me that we  were second on his list and the bike would be here in December. We were amazed and pleased when he called and said that he was receiving the second bike in September. We are loving it. The ride is a little more harsh than the Road King but my wife is totally in love with it. You will notice in the picture that it has a Pro-Pad on her part of the seat.
