Cal Schoch was the owner od Schoch's HD in Snydersville, PA. He passes away a few years ago and they have been holding a memorial ride each year since. The ride consists of a meet at Pocono Raceway where you are able to take a few laps around the track on your bike, WFO. From there there is a poker run that takes you to several of the local biker friendly watering holes. The poker run ends back at Schoch's HD where there is a pig roast.
Admission to the days events is $25 in advance and $30 day of. It included the pig roast and track time. The poker run winds you around several of the Pocono's secondary roads. I forgot to clock the mileage and I don't believe the flyer stated it. If I had to guess it may have been 50-60 miles. The trick to the pig roast is to get there early. I saw several riders forgo the poker run in order to get back to the dealers early. I heard from last years atendee's that you have to be there early or the line is long. They were right. I set out after a decent sized group of riders and ended up being the first to arrive at the final two poker run stops. I have no idea where everyone went. Maybe still at the watering holes? This put me back at the dealers in in line somewhere around third or fourth

. I was surprised at the number of out of state license plates I saw at the race track and dealership. I had heard the unofficial number was around 200 bikes. Maybe.
