Hogs, I had no idea how fast my 07 SEU would go, after reading your post, I held it open in fifth for a ways, went past 110 pretty easy, Im just running a Fuel Pak and touring mufflers, im guessing your tuner has things messed up somewhere, the road got pretty narrow to my old eyes, May not do that again for a while.

May not need to do it very often at all - one time will stay with your for a long time.  But when you come up over a hill, can see a couple of miles straight in front of you and there is no one any where around .....................................  It is kinda fun, isn't it?

Hogs,

I just looked up the specs on the 07 FLHX unless you have switched out the RIMS on the bike you are running 16" wheels.   The issue is that you have the speedo calibration setup for 17" rims.

On page 5 of the install manual on the left hand side of the page it tells you that 42450 is the correct calibration for 16" rims.

The calibration you have installed is for 17" rims 42000.

Try changing this and see how you make out.

Because your speedometer showed 115-117 after the mods instead of 110 I would guess the speedo is not the problem. But, it could be...I know more than one friend that had electronic speedo problems. Last weekend a riding buddy had his Night Train up to 124 mph!...except he was parked at the time, the needle slowly crawled back down after a while. This is the third time it occurred on the '07 bike. There's a gremlin in some of those guages. Now if yours is broke or has a bad sensor...who knows how fast you may have been going? I can't help you with a comparison, I've had by '06 CUSE up to 100 several times with plenty of felt power in reserve, but I never tempted it...yet.

HOGs where do you live...if you are at a higher altitude...that will make the difference on a normally aspirated motor....Fuel Injection or not. Less air at altitude...less power...period. Turbos or Superchargers can only compensate for altitude, not EFI. I am at 4000 ft. altitude, yes that's El Paso Desert for 'ya...and I fly 1/4 and 1/3 scale Radio Control Aircraft...and we have to put on 18 to 25% more motor to pull the same at Sea Level....and no the thinner doesn't help the wind resistance that much. Either mapping issues, altitude, or as one poster said, the paint is the wrong color... :nervous:

Iam at Halifax, Nova Scotia east Coast Canada  and I am at Sea level...  so that won`t apply to me, plus the Auto tune should pick that up anyways, as far as the spedo  being screwed up, I could see that maybe once in a awhile but not for days on end, Atleast I wouldn`t think so...

I think everyone who has tried to help has done about all they can from here, or there. Getting your bike on a dyno sounds like the best advice. Are you planning any road trips where you can get to a dyno to have it checked out?

Perhaps another forum may have some thought on it any ideals???
                                        Thanks Chris

oh btw  I have another trans pulley one tooth in the difference that I am going to try later this week  But Still think it should haul after 5600 rpms....

Just my opinion, but if your bike will only get to 5200 RPM in any gear, I'd say you have a problem in the ECM.  Does it just stop pulling but maintains the RPM without any cutting out?  I've had my 103 to 110 and still had more left in it than I was willing to see.  The 110's did sacrifice some HP for TQ, compared to the 103, so there will be some difference in top speed, but your bike should easily pull to 120+.

I know doodley squat about the Tmax, so can't help you out on specifics, but if the motor is ACTUALLY only turning 5200, first suspect would be the ECM limiting things by either starving for fuel, etc.

Have you checked the butterfly in the throttle body to ensure it is in fact opening all the way?

My 110 - with a TMAT - has pegged the speedo at 120 (confirmed by my ZUMO at 122) - I don't know how much farther it would have gone, but I was running out of road and 122 seemed like I had gone fast enough for that day  anyway...  I have no idea what RPM I was running, I only know that I had not hit the rev limiter...
