yeah, I can see that in the picture, right under the dogbone.  Right where the aft skid of my jack goes.  I guess there is a trade off:  really nice center stand, or jack.

Has anyone mounted this new rear center stand and had challenges getting your floor jack under the scooter?

Have you mounted your center stand yet? Waiting for feedback on ease of install as well as ease of use.

I put a rivco one on the SEEG and it doesn't interfere with the jack.

All I can think about when I see one of these is my short a$$ standing the bike up trying to get it on the centerstand and letting it get away from me opposite the jiffy stand... :nervous: :nervous:  I don't think I could ever get the damn thing on the stand.

TC-Amen to that. You and I both have a valid gripe with the city commissioners-They built the sidewalks too close to our arsses. If I recall correctly from ordering the Corbins, you and I are about the same height. I had center stands on my Beemers and I do like them. That was many years ago and the bikes were quite a bit lighter and I was quite a bit stronger. Still would like to try it.

It actually very easy to put up on the center stand,  I can even do it sitting on the bike.

Terry,
I think you could do it if you slammed the Legends suspension.  Once it starts going back, it's gonna go back to the stops.  You'd be OK. :2vrolijk_21:

Terry,

I believe we are about the same height (I haven't measured in many years, but I used to be 5'8".  Based on the latest height/weight charts, I may be taller now. :nixweiss:), and my first attempts to put the SEEG on the center stand reflected your comments above.  I was very nervous about that 850 lbs highsiding; I also tried to rely to much on strength rather than technique.  Once I finally got over the nervousness and remembered the technique from my Japanese bikes, I haven't had a problem.  It sure makes cleaning the bike much more convenient, without having to drag out the regular lift, and it's a much more solid and dependable way to get the rear wheel off the ground for tire and belt inspection/maintenance, winter storage, etc. than on a hydraulic lift.

Don,

Unless he changed it out recently, Magoo has the RIVCO, same as me.  The install is very simple and takes maybe 10-15 minutes.  The H-D part should be similar, with only two additional attachments as shown in the attached photo, unless you have a non-standard exhaust that interferes with the side bolts.

Do these things bolt up IN the channel piece under the frame, or behind it?  The J&S jack depends on the channel for stability, and I LOVE my J&S jack.

Jerry, you know the LT has an electric centerstand?  Sweet...
