So all in all a great trip with some great friends and fantastic riding. You guys over there in the USA would just love the history of this country.

Just under 3,000 miles and the last big trip, with me, for my trusty Heritage.

Thanks jacques. Yes I met three of the guys - Ecqons, Custardglide and one other that I have forgotten  :-[

We had a good chat for about half an hour or so. Pity you couldn't have been there.

Nige - Fantastic post, thanks for sharing with us.  I would love to tour Europe someday on my bike.  Have been over there many times as well as the UK and enjoyed every trip.  Unfortunately have not been there on bike!
