How fast is FAST ??

OK, Lets see who has a fast SERG.

The GPS on mine tells the story.

Max Speed 178 mph.


So is this fast?  Real fast?  or just way tooo fast?

Are you sure that your GPS is not reading Kilometers Per Hour or apprx. 107 mph?

It's fast, and for some, it's real fast. But it's seems way too fast, for that bike. So it must be really......not true! ;D Was there a drink in the cupholder while you were doing this? ::) Hoist! 8)

That's not bad, but it comes up quite a bit short of the SEEG.  I remember someone posting a GPS reading on his SEEG at over 200 mph a year or two back, might have been 2lane????

I'm with Hoist,,, it just ain't true.
Had that conversation with a man this weekend about false readings on a GPS.
I think his was showing 2900 something miles per hour.

Is the gearing stock? If it is then there's no way!

Those abnormal high-speed readings are common w/GPS'. Has something to do w/loosing satellite reception in one place and picking it back up in another. It will mess up the tracking of speed/distance and give false speed-readings.
