Hey Candy, that DeLux is sooo much easier to manuver for a short/slight person, esp. in hilly/unsure surface terrain.......it's the lower center of gravety that the softtail has and no fairing/weight on the handlebars.  I'm sure that's why she feels much more assured riding it.  I speak with experience since I switch back and forth between the two bikes.  ;D har!  spyder
