American Express Corporation
3 WTC, NYC, NY

Dear Mrs. Hoist,

It has come to our attention that you are concerned about the unusual charges appearing on your American Express Bill.  Please be advised that we will be crediting your account in full during our investigation.   Since this may have involved some fraud, yet to be determined, this issue should be of no concern at all since we at American Express value each and every customers' privacy and well being.  Over the next few months, if these charges continue to appear, just ignore them while we review the issues.

At the end of our investigation, which can last up to 12 months in some instances, we will make a determination to insure that these charges are paid for in an approrpriate manor.

One thing that you can do to help our investigation is to use your card at a predetermined location on a specific date of your choosing, and send us an email advising us of your intention. That way, we can track your card activity that date. It would be very helpful to us, so we can actually view the transaction method, and make sure that your card(s) are not being used fraudulently.  We have a co-op agreement with many vendors.  To help you get started, we have one vendor nearby, who has assisted us in the past with these issues.  Please make sure you send an email to  ovc@amex.com of your detail purchasing date prior to visiting the following location:

Harley Davidson Of New York City
4211 Northern Blvd
Long Island City, NY, 11101-1539

Please make sure your transaction exceeds $600US for this visit. We will screen our system to pick up that transaction and verify the codes being sent are actually authentic.   Within about 15 minutes of that transaction, we will notify you by the cellphone number listed on your account.  One of our associates will properly identify themselves. Please stay at the location during this time. During this call, we MAY ask you to make an additional purchase to confirm the transaction code.  You would be directed to a specific item that we have on file in our records and with the vendor. The vendor will select the item and complete the transaction.  This is normal.  After we compile this data, we will email you back with the results.

Thank you for being a loyal and active American Express Customer!

Sincerely,
Kenneth Chenault, CEO

Binx, hate to tell you this, but there is no cure nor are there meds to cure HD OCD.  :(
However, you take some meds or pop some tops on your favorite brewski and you won't even care.   ;)
