Just had a thought. It might not have been what many wanted to see (no SERG, and SEEG/SESG), but it sure makes those that have these models just a little more unique, and I'm liking that. :2vrolijk_21:

They're indicating adjustable deflectors on the standard Ultra's and an "Isolated Drive System".  I wonder where they're changing the rear to get that to work?

If one of the side covers is larger, that could be ABS.

Throttle cables are in the pic on the HD site.  Good eye!

No cables here.....

It also looks like two small cables/tubes crossing over the clutch line. Could that be the ABS lines?

Looking closer I do think I see something that could be a braided cable right next to the backbone, but its hard to tell what it could be.

They had such luck with the heated grips, it certainly makes sense to run the throttle wiring internally. ::) ::) :P :o

Here's a post on the Isolated Drive System

Just thought that MOCO could justify the third year version, by not saying it really existed, since "anniversary years" don't count as a 'real year'.

Can you splain that in English?
Not sure what you meant!

Nope, I'll let Rhino do it.  The system may need its Samaritans.

I think the 06 and 07 SEUC are much better looking than the 08 thing.
I guess they thought the abs thing was all they needed to sell it.

How will this work with out cables? I know I've seen them on boats but that's a whole different application. Does anyone in the auto industry use them?

I know my truck does not connect the pedal to the motor anymore. All electric.

Well, it looks like the '08 Model CVOHarley Frenzy is over. The bikes didn't make much of a splash. So we petered out after a couple of hours! ::) :D Hoist! 8)

As been posted already. Except for intro of ABS for the rest, pretty un-inspiring color wise and model wise. At least they came to their senses somewhat on the tour-paks. P & A now offers an 'improved' oil pump and plate, wonder if they'll ever go to grear driven cams as the standard?  :nixweiss:

The Screamin' Eagle® Billet cam plate and high volume oil pump kit upgrades early model stock or large displacement performance twin cam engines. High flow rate/high scavenge rate oil pump, stock on '07 and later Twin cam 96 models, improves the stock oiling system to increase oil flow to piston oil jets, cam chain tensioner, pinion shaft bearings and connecting rod bearings. Increased oiling results in lower engine operating temperatures and increased performance. Bill Cam support plate is precision machined from 6061 Aluminum and anodized for durability, comes assembled with crankshaft bushing and oil pressure relief valve. Kit includes billet cam support plate, oil pump assembly, bearing retainer plate and chain guide riser. 25283-07 IN-STORE PURCHASE ONLY Contact dealer for pricing and availability. Fits '99-'06 Touring and Softail® and '99-'05 Dyna® models.
MSRP US $429.95

It's no good for the 110's Joe. And it's 2 months before they'll become available. I just ordered the Feuling camplate/oil pump package for my 110" instead. That's available now for '07's. ;) Hoist! 8)

Crap! Parts count is going up. Looks like the master cylinder is different too. This may get painful, ABS Brembos that is.
