When the 07's first came out I wondered how effective they would be or if they would lead to damage to / clogging up of the oil cooler?

I'm concerned about air flow to the cooler being reduced by the larger fender.  You think its a trade off protection vs. airflow?
Or did HD discover more cooling with the larger fender somehow?

Hadn't thought of that, but I know my cooler gets dirty real easy, I clean it often and could see it getting packed if a guy didn't watch it, and thats with the long fender. I gots to think it gets plenty of airflow down there regardless.

They changed the Front Wheel size on the '08 SERK. According to the specs, it's now 19". It shows a 100/90-19 57H  as the new size. Interesting......... an FL Front End with an FX Front Wheel! :nixweiss: The rotors do look different than the '07 SERK's too. I don't think you're switching that ABS to the old bikes very easily. And way too expensive. Looks like there's indicator lights on the Riser Cover now. Still got the Screwed-in 110" Badges on the heads and not engraved. They dropped the crappy Flamed leather Seat and Saddlebags for NEW crappy leather Seat and Saddlebags. No cool Flush Mount Gas Cap or Fuel Gauge on that 6 Gal tank either! Hard to see everything from the limited pictures and convoluted specs. But overall, I'm still not impressed! ;) Hoist! 8)

What a let down this year. Sure am happy I got in on the '07's.
