Airhawk Cushion Size
« on: July 13, 2007, 04:36:24 PM »

I'm interested in purchasing a Airhawk cushion to be used with my stock '04 SEEG saddle.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to which size will work best?  Their Small Cruiser is 18" Deep x 12" Wide.  The Medium Cruiser is 14" x 14".  And the Large Cruiser is 18-1/8" x 14-3/8".  Thanks!!!!!!!!

I will check tomorrow which one we purchased.  We bought the one we have at the last biketoberfest in Daytona.   They let us bring the bike up and size it to fit the seat we had worked out well that way.   I would measure the seat where you want it to sit in length and width and purchase according to the seat your trying match.

Like:

Just purchased one for the Ultra............the Medium Cruiser.........and it fits perfect!  Was considering the Large Cruiser, but I believe the nose/front of the cushion would have protruded between my legs toward the tank, and would have been of no use.

As unbalanced stated, measure your seat and purchase accordingly.  They are true to stated size.

Here's an excellent Dealer that will exchange sizes if necessary:

This may be the answer to my problem.  I put a Sundowner on the 05 SEEG and it is great for me, not for MRS. So I bought the 06 SEUC and the seat is great for the MRS. but now I am uncomfortable...even on the shortest trips.  So I too would like to know which size is best for the 06 stock seat.  I will measure and likely do the medium absent any other advice.
BTW Like....I am headed to Cinci for a couple of years but keeping my place here.  That is the other reason I bought a second bike...one for each location!
thanks

Hey Harry, what do you think about the airhawk? how about Michelle?
I'm thinking about getting one to try until I can get to Hollister to have a seat made.

I bought  my wife one and started using it and now I have two of them, love'em.  The size that I have is the 14" X 14" which will fit the passenger seat as well as the front seat.  The reason I bought the second one the same size is that it will work in the rear in case of leak she can have mine. :)
I purchase mine from  www.zanottimotor.com   seems like it was around a $127.00 for the med size. Beats the 169.00 price.
