Does sound like a good stereo 160 watts with XM and MP3 CD's.

I guess you'd have to see 'em side-by-side, but it doesn't look much different than the '05 in those photos.

It's interesting to see the use of a black and chrome engine in a CVO, though. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Already been done...

The FXRs have Black n Chrome engines...

:)

...I don't see anything in the new CVOs that makes me really want one. BUT...

The new Dyna series "street bobber" looks cool!!!

The specs list a California version does that mean the rest will NOT have a catalitic converter?

I heard in 05 that teal was the most popular color,  or was that least produced?

Well, since we really don't like the new colors...and we don't really like the new tour pac....and we can't add the new radio/CB stuff.....I wonder if we could buy the new '06 and keep the beautiful yellow sheet metal and swap it out to the new bike......

From the listed 'specs' it appears that this '06 ultra must not be lowered as much as the SEEGs.......the rider's seat is listed as almost a inch higher than the listed '04 SEEG seat height and the fuel mileage is listed in the mid-40s.  Now if they're anywhere near accurate on that, with proper tuning, it could get even better once the 'breathing' is dealt with...........Can't really tell much from the pictures on the tank emblem, but looks like a hard emblem instead of decals.  Wonder if the 4-piston brakes are the same or did they upgrade ??  I guess it's gonna be the end of September before we lay eyes on these scooters, huh?   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]   spyder

To be honest...

I like the new Dyna series bikes a lot. They took the Low Rider and put nice cast wheels on it. Gotta love the 6 speed.

The Street Bob looks like the best canvas for customizing. I know...the point is to have it stripped, but who really leaves them stock?

No real difference in the Heritage Softail and the Fat Boy.

It appears as if the MoCo decided that the fat tire thing isn't over yet.

...they're wrong.

I agree with others...I'd take the Victory Hammer over the V-Rod every time right now.

As I said to Naitram yesterday...I'll keep mine forever.

Not so fast there, TwoLane.........it was awhile before they listed a number of the SEEG upgrades as accessories that could be purchased when the '04 came out.  I'm still holding out hope for a spun aluminum oil temp gauge!   Har!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] spyder

Not an SE bike, or even a bike at all, but did just notice something that tickled my fancy a bit.  In the accessory section they're offering several new "radical paint sets."  What I missed the first time through was that one of these sets was for sidehack riders.  That's right, a radical paint set including a sidecar body.  It's $15,000 dollars.   But it's a cool idea.

Don,  I'm in agreement with you 100%.
The value of ours will certainly be affected negatively. [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]

And to improve the least popular line and not the others  [smiley=confused5.gif]

I'm happy I've got what I've got... and looks like I'll be keeping them for a while  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

The dyna bob is nice.... only about 3 years too late.  But then H-D never has been cutting edge, have they...

Just got in from a ride and saw the news.  [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]

Man am I disappointed.   I figured they would wimp out and do the Ultra but GEEEZ is that thing fugly in the photos.   Everything looks different in person but man that green is awful looking to me and the other colors don't excite me either (know color is subjective and this is only my personal opinion, yours may vary; not meant to get into a color argument).   Don't like the tour pak at all and no 6speed.  They whimped out and went for the quick cash of what they already had on the assembly line on with a few minor changes on this one.

All you guys with '04 and '05 SEEG count your selves lucky because this new bike does not even come close to how nice yours are.

I guess on the bright side, the MOCO just saved me some serious cash  because my RG will be in my garage for a while longer.

Okay-okay,

I agree with much of what has already been sai d about the dissapointing improvements.
However, as far as the green...  I kind of like it.
Of course I am partial to green. My '02 RK was green/blk two tone, now I got the teal.
Green is good !!!

Just thought I would throw in a difference of opinion, isn't that what it's all about- personal preference ?!?!?!

Totally agree, color is personal and there are no wrong answers.  What I don't like another will love.  As I always say in my house that's why theres chocolate and vanilla so you have a choice.  Hope no one thought I was dissing their personal color choices I would surely never intend to do something stupid as that.    [smiley=beerchug.gif]
