Ya know, you're absolutely right........about as "off topic" as your post. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

No way Brian.... it's job security.  If they quit doing what they do, I'd be out of business.

...And the whole thread goes to hell in a handbasket! [smiley=smoking.gif]

All models except the Sportster will be injected in 06. In 07 the Sportster will follow.

I don't mean to disagree with you however I don't believe all models will be injected except the Sportster in 06. Many models will retain the carb option, except the Dynas. The reason I expect the 95" motor on dynas is that it only makes sense, Right now the only "legal" 95 is a fuelie and the 95 may help sales of a line that in some respects is slipping in sales. I don't have any "inside" info on this, just simple deduction, which I will freely admit is sometimes incorrect.

I agree that it would make sense. The comment I made comes directly from a buddy at a local dealership. We will soon see.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

As mentioned elsewhere, 2006 model/color information chart is in the dealer's hands.  All Softails, FLHT, FLHR and FLHRSI models show both carb and F.I. to be available

Thanks for the info. I guess my buddy was wrong. He had told me this early in the spring so I guess it was just a rumor that he was relaying. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

That's why they're rumors

just some random thoughts i had while riding the other day......

it used to be 2 models per year 2 colors per model ( excluding FLHRSEI2) 2 years per model......

now last year we get a 3 model and 3 color choices for each so based on that this year we will have SEEG3 ( with a 6 speed ) SEFB2 and SEVROD2

I predict no to the SEEG3 and that there will be an FLTRSEI3 or in other words an 06 SE Road Glide with 6 speed.   [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Like the idea of a road glide with a 6 speed.  Time will tell.
