The state of MA had that written on big yellow bill boards at the beginning of the riding season.

Nothing wrong with that type of ad.

Only problem with the billboards is, the ones who need to read them are too busy on the cell phone.

The other problem is that if they are readin the FKN billboards they obviously are not looking at US!!!

Man how true is that!! That's Mass for ya, hey it was done with the best of intentions.

Seriously, that's also true Jock, it is a good program, along with the bill boards they make up flyer's, bumper stickers, internet, signs at the RMV, etc. Anything to raise awareness is a good thing and with a limited riding season people need to be made aware every year.

We cover the whole gamut of motorcycles and riding here, and a regular reminder on safety is very helpful.

Reminding the cagers as well as reminding us riders to practice safety is something we can all learn from.  Even if we think we already know it.

So true, before I PCS'ed to Germany I didn't have to worry about cagers on cell phones, now I am attempting to negotiate that obstacle.

With Bluetooth, now we have riders on cell phones also.

Couple months ago while riding in town my wife pointed out a rider talking on a cell phone while riding a street glide. Was glad to be going a different direction.

Last rider I saw with one was leaving Destination Daytona, heading out to I-95, with a cell phone in his left hand held up to his ear - yakking away like crazy.

I just stopped, watched, and shook my head.
