Inner fairing color CUSE2 Light Candy Cherry
« on: July 19, 2007, 11:25:59 PM »

As the '07 CVO season comes to a close, I wonder why the MoCo didn't paint the inner fairing of the Light Candy Cherry/ Black Ice version of the FLHTCUSE2 LIGHT CANDY CHERRY!!!! I own one  and was really bummed when it showed up to the dealer and was NOT LCC color. A local dealer had the "blue" version and I LOVED the blue inner fairing. Now I suffer every time I run across a post from Skycuse2 (BTW that is the badest, cleanest '07 CVO IMHO) SURE that one is blue. I WANT LIGHT CANDY CHERRY ON MINE !! Have I missed a tip on making this happen?

If it's the same light candy cherry from the 05 SEEG you could order something painted to match and install it.

Could purchase a new, unpainted inner fairing and have it painted locally, or just have the current part removed and painted.  MSRP from Harley is $275 for the inner fairing and $69 for the cap, unpainted.  The painted ones run $399 and $119 respectively, but I don't see the light candy cherry listed as an available color from their Color Shop catalog.

I had a problem with an order of spoilers. I used the light candy cherry code and was questioned by HD if it was for an 05 or 07. Upon further investigation the 07 light candy cherry is different than the 05. Go figure, HD uses the same paint name for two different colors
