Hey Rog,

First off, glad that you all were protected and came away in great shape.

Sencondly, what can you tell us about the  3M film?  Never heard about utilizing it on a bike before :nixweiss:  Do tell!!!

You know the stuff on cars, I had the entire kit done on the bike.  I remember the guy saying I can do the sides of the bags and I told him not to bother, he said he already cut the pieces so if I don't like it just take it off so we did it.

Man what a deal now, it really saved the bag.  Here's the thread so we don't get off track on the crash bars:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=12208.0  and the pic of the good fortune being installed.

I'm a believer also. Crashed twice now and both times the bars have saved me and my wife from severe injury and minimised the damage to the bike. When you go down they create a nice pocket to hang out in until the bike stops skidding along the pavement. I've got the last one hanging up in the bar with major damage but the bike had no damage to paint or other metal.    "Those Harley parts are expensive, but the meat grows back."
