Ok, I am new. I live in central Oklahoma and have been riding since shortly after I learned to walk (legally on the street now for 33 years)
I currently have an 02 Ultraglide (non-CVO). I am here to learn about CVO bikes. I bought my current bike new at Tripps HD in Amarillo late in 02. The bike has been awesome. Nothing wrong with my current bike other than it is not a CVO. I have lusted after a CVO Ultraglide for a few years now and I hope this will be my year to own one. I have a few dealers that are supposed to call me as soon as they get an 08 in, so I am on standby and will drop everything to make a run to the dealer.
I hope to get a Copper Canyon & Stardust Silver (or Red & Silver --- Not sure I am wild about the Copper & Black 105th anniversary colors). New CVO Ultraglides are hard to come by (around here anyway) so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
It is good to read about things to watch for (like the paint issue). I also hope to get input on the best modifications (pipes, cams, air filters, programmers,...)
Anyway, I will read on and post a picture when I get the new bike.
