I get real awesome bass with the 300 watt 4-channel Hawg Wired system in the faring and speakers in the lowers. But there was a small fee to get it

Yes it is my fault & I take full responsibility except mebbe I need to go to Hollywood rehab to rehab myself and leave in 3.4 hours since I just can't stand the pressure dammit and the voices are yelling and yelling and then a visual of Humper Dink singing about dinks will haunt me until the very end of my days. 

I need to buy some chrome no doubt as the antidote.  Damn that 147 function radio from hell from Harmon Kardon and the MoCo that decided to injysneer it onto my bike.

Ah-hem, back to the subject, I just replaced my POS radio in my SEEG with Jim's help with a Sony, an amp and HW speakers. You must hear it to understand, in fact you probably can hear it if you're ever in the West Tennessee area. At 75 in expressway traffic with a full-face on, I can hear it clear as a bell with no distortion at all. But still no bass, I may have to add a sub-woofer in my tour-pak to get decent bass.
As soon as my 08 comes in, HW speakers are going to be in my first wave of mods.

No intercom or CBs on the SEEG's (well, except for PJ's bike).

You are right about not getting a lot of base due to the open air aspect. Try this to confirm findings. Put your bike
in the garage, close all garage doors & then turn up the volume & base. Sound better? When there is something to
stop the sound from travelling it seems to sound a lot better.Too bad they don't stay in the garage, then there
wouldn't be a problem.
